1. Acceptance and scope

By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Website Terms. If you use the website on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to act for that organization in relation to your use of the website.

These terms apply only to the public website, its content and public forms. They are not a master services agreement, software subscription agreement, data-processing agreement, statement of work, authorization to test or Rules of Engagement. Any customer account, BotXpose deployment or security service is subject to separate written terms.

2. Permitted website use

You may use this site for lawful business-information and enquiry purposes. You must not:

• attempt to access data, accounts, systems or functions not intended for you;
• probe, scan, exploit, bypass or interfere with the website or its hosting, security or availability;
• introduce malware, harmful code or content intended to manipulate an automated system;
• use the website to violate law, contract, intellectual-property, privacy or other rights;
• submit false information, impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority;
• collect personal information or website content unlawfully; or
• use automated extraction at a volume or in a manner that disrupts the website, except ordinary search indexing consistent with our published crawling instructions or use we approve in writing.

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, other users or Botnet Security, or to investigate suspected misuse.

3. Informational content

Website content describes Botnet Security services and product concepts at a high level. It is not security, legal, compliance, investment or risk advice for a particular environment. Examples, diagrams, workflows and illustrative findings do not represent a promise that the same technique, result or integration will apply to every customer.

Scope, techniques, assumptions, exclusions, service levels, deliverables and acceptance criteria are established only in the applicable written engagement documents. You remain responsible for decisions made from public website content.

4. No authorization to test

A website visit, email, Contact form, Partner form, Request Assessment submission or request for BotXpose access does not authorize Botnet Security—or any visitor—to test a system. A request does not create an engagement, initiate a penetration test, approve a technique or create a payment obligation.

Testing may begin only after the customer’s authority over the target is established and the parties complete the applicable agreement, scope, written authorization, Rules of Engagement and kickoff. Authorization must identify the targets and permitted activity; it cannot be inferred from public availability, documentation, target responses or content encountered during testing.

5. Enquiries, submissions and feedback

Information submitted through a public form must be accurate and supplied by a person permitted to provide it. Do not submit passwords, tokens, API keys, production credentials, private keys, application bundles, request captures, sensitive technical files or confidential evidence through a public form. Use an agreed secure channel for assessment material.

Botnet Security may respond to, decline or request clarification of an enquiry without creating an obligation to provide services. If you voluntarily provide suggestions or feedback about the public website, you permit us to use that feedback without restriction or payment, provided we do not identify you publicly without permission.

6. Security services, accounts and BotXpose

Any security assessment, Red Team, Purple Team, social-engineering activity, BotXpose deployment or related service is governed by separate written terms, scope, authorization and operational controls. Public descriptions do not guarantee that every technique, target type, workflow, integration or outcome is available in every engagement or deployment.

BotXpose performs continuous authorized penetration testing only within an agreed scope and operating policy. It does not receive testing authority through this website and does not autonomously make remediation changes to customer systems. Customer responsibilities, permitted users, credentials, third-party connections, customer data, support, fees, suspension, termination and service-specific liability are addressed in the applicable customer documents.

If Botnet Security later gives you an account, you must keep credentials confidential, use an individual account where required, notify us promptly of suspected compromise and remain responsible for activity performed through credentials issued to you, subject to the applicable customer agreement.

7. Intellectual property

The website, Botnet Security and BotXpose names and marks, design, text, graphics, software and other materials are owned by or licensed to Botnet Security unless stated otherwise. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to access and use the public website for its intended business-information purpose.

You may not reproduce, republish, sell, modify, frame, remove proprietary notices from or create misleading derivative use of the materials without permission, except where applicable law permits it. No right in Botnet Security software, product functionality, trademarks or other intellectual property is granted by implication.

8. Third-party services, integrations and links

The website may refer or link to third-party websites, products or services. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy practices, and Botnet Security is not responsible for content or conduct we do not control. A reference to a vendor, data source or workflow does not by itself imply sponsorship, endorsement, universal availability or an enabled production integration.

Any customer-requested integration is subject to technical validation, permissions, configuration and the applicable customer and third-party terms.

9. Privacy

Personal information submitted through the website is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Customer and assessment data may also be governed by a data-processing agreement, statement of work or engagement-specific instructions.

10. Availability and disclaimers

The public website and its content are provided on an “as available” basis and may be changed, suspended or unavailable. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Botnet Security disclaims implied warranties concerning availability, accuracy, completeness, non-infringement, merchantability or fitness of public website content for a particular purpose.

We do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free or free from harmful components. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty, right or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Botnet Security is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential loss arising solely from use of, or inability to use, the public website or reliance on its public content, including loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, opportunity or data.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Liability connected with a customer account, BotXpose deployment or security engagement is governed by the applicable written agreement rather than this section.

12. Changes to the website or these terms

We may modify or discontinue website content or functionality and may update these terms to reflect changes in the website, our practices or applicable requirements. The effective date and version above identify the current terms. Material changes will be communicated where required.

13. General

A signed customer or services agreement governs disputes related to that agreement and controls to the extent it conflicts with these Website Terms. Website-only use is subject to applicable law and any mandatory rights or remedies available to the visitor.

If a provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our written consent. Headings are provided for convenience and do not change the meaning of these terms.
