INTERNAL DRAFT / LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED

Website Terms

These draft terms address the public marketing website and enquiry forms. They are not lawyer-approved and require governing-law, entity and liability review before publication.

STATUSPre-publication draftEFFECTIVE DATENot assigned
CONTENTSWebsite useNo testing authorizationSubmissionsSecurity servicesDisclaimersGoverning law

1. Website use

These terms are intended to govern access to the Botnet Security public website. A visitor may use the site for lawful business-information and enquiry purposes. The site must not be used to interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, collect information unlawfully or infringe the rights of others.

2. Informational content

Website content describes Botnet Security services and product capabilities at a high level. It is not security, legal, compliance or risk advice for a particular environment. Scope, techniques, assumptions, exclusions and deliverables are established only in the applicable written engagement documents.

3. No authorization to test

A website visit, email, Contact form, Partner form or Request Assessment submission does not authorize Botnet Security—or any visitor—to test a system. A request does not create an engagement, initiate a penetration test, approve a technique or create a payment obligation. Testing may begin only after scope agreement, a signed authorization or SOW, and kickoff under the applicable Rules of Engagement.

4. Enquiry submissions

Information submitted through a public form should be accurate and supplied by a person permitted to provide it. Do not submit passwords, tokens, API keys, production credentials, private keys, sensitive technical files or confidential evidence. Botnet Security may respond to, decline or request clarification of an enquiry without creating an obligation to provide services.

5. Security services and BotXpose

Any security assessment, Red Team, Purple Team, social-engineering activity, BotXpose deployment or related service is governed by separate written terms, scope, authorization and operational controls. Public descriptions do not guarantee that every technique, source, platform, integration or outcome is available in every engagement or deployment.

BotXpose provides exposure analysis, prioritized findings and remediation guidance. It does not, through this website, authorize or autonomously perform changes to customer systems.

6. Intellectual property

The website, brand elements, design, text and other materials are owned by or licensed to Botnet Security unless stated otherwise. The final terms should define permitted use, trademark treatment and any limited licence after ownership review.

7. Third-party services and links

The website may refer or link to third-party services. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy practices. A reference does not by itself imply sponsorship, endorsement or a production integration.

8. Privacy

Personal information submitted through the website is addressed in the draft Privacy Policy. Both documents require legal review before publication.

9. Availability, disclaimers and liability

The public website may be changed, suspended or unavailable. To the extent permitted by applicable law, final terms are expected to include appropriate warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability. The exact wording and any mandatory exceptions must be supplied or approved by legal counsel; this draft intentionally does not invent a liability cap.

10. Governing law and disputes

OPEN LEGAL DECISION

The contracting entity, governing law, venue and dispute process have not been approved. Legal counsel must complete this section before publication.

11. Changes

When approved terms are published, changes should be reflected by updating the effective date and providing any notice required by applicable law.

12. Contact

Questions about the website may be sent to contact@botnetsecurity.com.
